Business is picking up as we gear up for the 4th of July invasion of Tourists and regulars that come down here several times a year.

We have now been in business just over a month at QuiXote's and we turned a profit the first month which I didn't expect. This is the slowest time of the year here and we haven't had time to build a business yet but a profit in the restaurant business the first month no matter how small is monumental. The location is what did it in my opinion. Being in a hotel makes doing business a whole lot easier. Having Club Residential and other places close by is also a great help.

This week we added a whole bunch of new liquors to our list. 2 new Vodkas Grey Goose Le Citron and Sex Vodka and 2 new Scotches, Johnny Walker Green 15 y.o and 21 year old Balvenie lead the charge.

Tom Wonder just walked in and sitting at the bar. Cool! Town is filling up with great people.

Scott, congratulations on turning a profit your first month. Hopefully that will be a harbinger of good things to come. As long as the food remains top notch with reasonable prices I'm sure the restaurant will be full of happy and repeat customers. Just make sure the place is full of ice cold presidentes and hot chicas when I come to town.
