Dawns new ex car and Dawns new Blog

First off here is the link to Dawns new blog she is working on in Thailand. Dawn is a great writer when she doesn't decide to get too wordy which is most times. She writes like she talks. Sometimes by the time she gets to the end of a sentence I am dumbfounded to figure out what she is talking about to begin with because it was so long since she started my eyes get crossed!:)
.
Oh heck, I am only kidding. READ DAWNS BLOG NOW!

.
The Car on the right is a car I had made arrangements to buy on Dawns behalf from a client in the restaurant who wants to blow town and as a matter of fact has already blown town.
.
The car on the left is a car I bought just a few months ago. Dawn borrowed it and cracked it up before I owned it a week. I wanted her to get another car so she didn't have to crack mine up again:) .
I made a good deal on her behalf and went to Guido Perdomo who is both my lawyer and just about everyone I know to do a contract for her.
.
Well the guy cracks the car up on his way to Guido's office with the title. He must have hit a telephone pole because that is the way the car looked.
.
Radiator was shot along with fan motor. Car overheated and who knows what damage was underneath. Needed everything up front except the fenders.
.
Then he tells me that he flat towed the car from Puerto Plata to Sosua. You don't flat tow a car with an automatic tranny without disconnecting the driveshaft which I am sure he didn't. The tranny will now need to be replaced.
.
I took a pass on the car after congradulating Dawn on a nice new reliable car:( Well it was a 2006 model Suzuki Jimmy 4x4 in great shape before it was trashed!
.
In other business I supposedly came to terms on a piece of property on the Main Road between Sosua and Cabarete. All this means at this point is that I have an accepted offer which now goes to the attorney to research the title and then after it is clear of liens/problems I purchase it.
.
This is a 50/50 deal at this point. In the states I would have said it was 99% done as there is a meeting of the minds. Here it is a different story for sure. I can tell you stories that will curl your toenails. You have to be real careful about everything you do here. If you take all precautions you will get what you pay for. If you don't you may just be donating your hard earned money to some scoundrel.
.
I will let you know what comes of my land purchase! I hope it goes through. It is a perfect piece for me as it will replace one that I have recently sold as it is the same type of location.
.
Hasta Pronto!

Do you know the meaning of 'exaggeration'???

Cracked your car up, indeed. Well, guess what? I have a pic of the damage and I'm darn well posting it on my blog. Suck it up, big boy.

I'm mad and ain't gonna take it anymore...
